Diablo 4 Witch Powers

Witch Power System Overview

Season 7 drops you right into the heart of Hawezar’s dark magic, where you’ll unlock powerful Witch Powers to boost your build in wild new ways. You’ll tap into arcane sorcery that works on any class, no matter how you like to play.

You can equip up to six powers - five normal and one unique. Each power gives you an edge, whether it’s extra damage, healing, or utility.

Witch Powers sit in their own Witchcraft tab and once unlocked, they’re shared across all your seasonal characters. Powers can also be leveled up to get stronger, and mixing different schools lets you build something that fits you.

To start, you’ll ally with a coven of witches through a seasonal quest, then earn a special currency called Restless Rot by hunting monsters and completing bounties. Spend that Rot at altars near the Tree of Whispers to unlock powers from three schools.

Witch Power Schools (Types):

  • Eldritch powers are all about destruction - expect deadly bursts, explosive effects, and magical summons that melt enemies before they can touch you.
  • Psyche powers protect your sanity and your health, giving you shields, crowd control, and ways to mess with enemies’ behavior so you can stay in control.
  • Growth & Decay powers ride the line between life and death - they poison, leech, or boost your minions, perfect for sustain-heavy or pet-focused builds.
  • Lost powers are rare, powerful augments you find hidden in dungeons - they enhance your whole Witchcraft setup and can unlock devastating combo effects when timed right.

Rare “Lost” powers can only be found by uncovering hidden altars in dungeons, and they’re some of the best in the game. As you earn reputation with the Coven, you unlock more power slots and access even stronger upgrades.
